Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

If you’ve ever finished a long day feeling busy but not productive — like you were moving but not really going anywhere — this page is for you.

Shukr Notes exists for Muslims who want to do more with the time Allah has given them. Not hustle-culture more. Not grind-until-you-burn-out more. But intentional, barakah-filled more — where your work, your worship, and your daily life actually feel connected.

Why we built this

There is no shortage of productivity advice on the internet. But most of it was built for a different kind of person, living a different kind of life.

It doesn’t account for the five daily prayers that anchor your day. It doesn’t understand that Fajr is your most important alarm. It doesn’t know that Ramadan changes everything — your sleep, your energy, your priorities. And it certainly doesn’t weigh whether a product is worth your hard-earned, halal money.

So we built the resource we wished we had.

Every planner, app, tool, and system we review is evaluated through a simple lens: does this help a Muslim live with more intention, more focus, and more barakah? If the answer is yes, it earns its place here. If not, we leave it out — no matter how popular it is elsewhere.

What you’ll find here

We cover everything a productive Muslim needs in their corner:

Islamic planners and journals that schedule your day around salah, not the other way around. Focus tools and home office setups for deep, distraction-free work. Quran study resources and tasbeeh counters for your daily worship habits. Books, apps, and systems that have been tested in real life — not just unboxed and photographed.

Every recommendation comes with honest pros and cons, clear pricing, and a straight answer on who it’s actually for.

How we make money — and why it doesn’t affect our picks

Shukr Notes participates in the Amazon Associates program. When you click a link on this site and make a purchase on Amazon, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you whatsoever.

We want to be completely transparent about this because you deserve to know. But here is our promise: no brand pays us for a recommendation. No company can buy a spot on this site. Every product we feature is something we have genuinely evaluated and believe is worth your money. If we wouldn’t spend our own money on it, it doesn’t go on the site.

Your trust is worth far more to us than any commission.

A note on intention

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Verily, actions are by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

Our intention with Shukr Notes is simple: to help you make the most of the amanah of time that Allah has placed in your hands. If something on this site helps you pray on time, finish your work with focus, read more Quran, or simply feel less scattered — then alhamdulillah, we have done what we set out to do.

Jazakallahu khayran for being here. May Allah put barakah in your time, your efforts, and your earnings.
